Overview

This is the story of a design studio and a still life photographer creating motion magic for a vet tech company staring a dog named Kiwi. We partnered with the very talented, Brian Steele, of Slate SF to light and direct five still-life-portraiture inspired slo-mo motion pieces in studio.

When Brian initially reached out he was looking for help creating a dramatic, moving portrait.

Brian wanted a still life photographer's eye behind a cinematic lens.

Lupine got down on Kiwi's level to grab stills in between motion takes, using the same lighting... and dog treats.

It was Kiwi's first big shoot and so we kept the set quiet and mellow, capturing still images along the way to help expand their messaging.
