the people

At our roots, we're a tight group of highly skilled friends who met through a shared love of San Francisco’s photo community. We’re creative, driven and have worked together (in all sorts of shapes and sizes) since 2010. We take our productions seriously and ourselves quite a bit less so. Our skill sets come from our backgrounds in advertising work and span photography, motion, production, and post production. We’re also firm believers in talking about our feelings and typically burn sage before every shoot.

Lupine Hammack

CREATIVE LEAD
Photographer, Director, Bee Keeper
“Lupine’s style is exploratory and flexible. He is always willing to pivot and try new methods which is huge in keeping everyone positive and clients comfortable. Lupine and his team really understood our vision. There was a deep baseline of understanding and mutual excitement for the idea, that’s the best you can hope for in advertising. I think that it is a testament to a strong partnership, trust, and really good communication.”

JAMIE MALINATI, ACD
Arnold Worldwide

“When you work with someone like Lupine, who is willing to put the Jules Verne suit on and jump in to explore, it makes the creative better and the experience more rewarding.”

Sarah James

CREATIVE PARTNER
Writer, Creative Swiss Army Knife
“There are those that can think creatively, and those who can bring creative ideas to life. Sarah is one of those few creative professionals that thrives at the crossroad of creative thinking and practical doing. She's proven, time and time again, an ability to deliver creative solutions that solve real world business problems AND execute those ideas in ways that are beautiful, exciting and practical to the resources at hand. So fuck what those people say, Sarah is rad.”

MILAN MARTIN, President
Grey Group

Josh Lewis

PRODUCTION
Crew, Gear, Production
“Every signature dish needs a secret ingredient, that subtle "je ne sais quoi" that ties it all together. For me, that’s saffron - I mean, Josh. When Josh is around an entire section of my brain (the worrying part) turns off because I know he's got everything handled. He’s able to stare deeply into any computer or piece of gear and understand its soul, and he’s also ready to enjoy some sunshine in the downtime (after he finishes backing up his backup’s backup). Thorough, knowledgeable and just an all around good teammate. Who wouldn’t like having Josh around?”

the space

Spacious, purpose built and surprisingly cozy, our studio facility is homebase and where the Zoom meetings and magic happen (or at least starts). Equal parts photo-nerd candy shop, creative minds incubator and production powerhouse, our studio offers up non-stop round the clock access to create.

This low-profile, 7,000 sq ft oasis is tucked away in the Mission District of San Francisco and is conveniently within walking distance from important production needs like tacos and coffee.
